Our approach
01
Understand the business
02
Assess the opportunity
03
Decide what moves growth
01 / UNDERSTAND
We start with the business, not the service.
Before we recommend anything, we want to understand:
how the business makes money
where profit comes from
which customers create the greatest value
what's limiting growth
what success actually looks like over the next 12 months
At the same time, we want to understand how customers discover you, why they buy, why they don't, and where opportunities are being missed.
Only when we understand both can we make recommendations with confidence.
02 / ASSESS
Every recommendation has a commercial consequence.
Marketing is an investment, not an objective.
Sometimes the answer is advertising. Sometimes it's pricing. Sometimes it's customer retention. Sometimes it's a completely different part of the business.
Our recommendations are guided by what is most likely to strengthen the business, not by the services we happen to offer.
Then we decide what marketing should do.
Once we understand the commercial priorities, marketing becomes much easier to plan.
For one business, marketing might need to generate awareness. For another, it might need to improve conversion. And for another, it might simply need to communicate the value of the business more clearly.
The channels don't come first. The objective does.
